In some translations (not mine) "live stream" is translated as a "video broadcast", however, these concepts are a bit different.
Moreover, the original text does not indicate the gender of the person who invited us to the live stream, since there are no constructions in English that could convey this (except for pronouns).
But not in Russian. There are constructions in Russian grammar that can reflect this, and it always indicates. Therefore, I reflected this in my translation, in accordance with the rules of spelling.

Gender neutral. "Сейчас" or "Теперь" can also be added at the beginning of the sentence, to further clarify the message, but given that the message (I assume) shows up when a person starts a live stream, it's not really necessary.

Предложение "Started a live stream" подразумевает трансляцию с использованием прямого эфира. Также возможна аналогичная ситуация, но без прямого эфира.
