I think this is a better translation because the 'upgraded' in this sense is related to size, telling us it has become larger (from ordinary group to supergroup). Another challenge is the word 'super', there is no good translation for the word so I used it as 'super' just in Amharic. It is very common and people will understand it better than any other formal term.

The word "ቡድን" is a close Amharic equivalent to the word "Group", most of the above suggestions used the English word(Group) it self but "Group" roughly translates to the Amharic word "ቡድን", the word "Supergroup" doesn't 'really have close Amharic word," የላቀ ቡድን" is used in this case to avoid using the English word itself like in the other suggestions.
