In other translations, the "do A - or B will happen" structure is preserved, but that structure in Chinese doesn't clearly indicate the logic (if you don't do A, B will happen) and is confusing to read & understand. This translation opted to change to "Please do A, so to avoid B", which makes more sense in Chinese.
