The version in use lacks politeness and is too direct. Making the sentence impersonal makes it sound more polite. I also got rid of 'пока', which is a bit too informal for the register of the interface. I also prefer to let the word 'unsent' remain an adjective in translation as it makes the sentence easier to read

Since the word "sorry" appears in the original, I prefer to maintain it in the translation. Messages - it should be also plural in the translation.
I decided to use the translated verb without the prefix saving 2 symbols and not losing any meaning at the same time.

Always try to curtail a long message by reducing the number of words in it to make it sound more English.
