The applied translation uses "پیوسته" that means "continuous". Although being continuously played could be a feature of streaming, the word "روان" or "جاری" is closer to "stream" like "آب جاری" or "آب روان" which is almost exactly the same as "streaming water" and we never say "آب پیوسته"! Also both of the new suggestions are even shorter than the main English word.

This is not a literal translation for the English string, it's more of an explanation. Some users may be unfamiliar with the word "Stream" and don't know what it is, and they definitely won't understand it with the applied translation.
