In these threads, the term 'session' has been translated as "summit' or 'meeting" in Persian. However, that is wrong and meaningless. We need to step back here and think about the definition and usage of the word before looking for a translation. Sessions are active connections from various devices or terminals. When a session is torn up, we usually stop referring to it as it disappears. So, sessions are always active unless otherwise mentioned. It is our job to make translations as clear and easy to understand as possible for all users regardless of their computer literacy. A direct translation such as "summit' or 'meeting' for a session is unacceptable as no “meeting” can last weeks or months. That is why using synonyms of “meeting” are not good at least in Persian. I recommend “active connections” in Persian which makes much more sense to everyone.
