Here the word “caption” is words written under a picture to explain it. However, translations into Uzbek language were written as “izoh” va “ta’rif” (“comment” and “definition” in English). To fix this, I have tried to translate this word (“caption”) into two languages Uzbek and Russian so that I can see whether there is any difference in meaning. After analyzing, it came as a “sarlavha” or “rasm ostidagi imzo”. From these two translations “sarlavha” is more appropriate for “caption” in my opinion.
